A company, which receives an improvement notice from Arbejdstilsynet must report back to Arbejdstilsynet before the deadline with information describing how the company have resolved the problem.
All companies, which have received an improvement notice from Arbejdstilsynet (the Danish Working Environment Authority) have an obligation to report back to Arbejdstilsynet and describe how they have resolved the problem which was behind the ruling made by Arbejdstilsynet.
Report back to Arbejdstilsynet as a foreign company
Foreign companies, which are not established in Denmark must submit their information to Arbejdstilsynet by replying to the email, the ruling was attached to.
The email must be sent to: at@at.dk
The deadline is stated in the ruling and will depend on the type of improvement notice you have received.
It is important that the description or photos you provide enable Arbejdstilsynet to assess whether or not the action you have taken to comply with the notice has satisfactorily resolved the problems concerned.
You must inform everyone affected by the improvement notice, that you have receivd an improvement notice as well as how you have complied with it. This applies to the health and safety organisation, or the employees in compamies that are not obliged to establish a health and safety organisation.
Arbejdstilsynet may carry out one or more unannounced inspections of your business to ensure that the problems have been resolved satisfactorily.
