Safety during excavation workThere is a high risk of injury from soil collapse in connection with excavation work. The collapse of soil can cause serious injuries and fatal accidents. Therefore, when inspecting excavation work, the Danish Working Environment Authority (Arbejdstilsynet) has special focus on the risk of collapse. We also focus on other risk areas such as vehicle impacts, risk of employees falling into excavations and heavy lifting.
