Roof work

There is a high risk of serious injury when carrying out roof work. Falling from roofs is the cause of most serious accidents on construction sites. Therefore, when inspecting roof work, the Danish Working Environment Authority (Arbejdstilsynet) has special focus on the risk of falling. We also focus on other risk areas such as work with asbestos and heavy lifting.

Safety during roof work

Railings, safety nets and scaffolding can prevent employees from falling from or through roofs. There are stricter requirements for safety in the event of serious risk.
